10th and 11th day c0mments! 10th day

Today i woke up at 8.Then i ate breakfast. I think it was bread with peanut butter. After that we tried to fish again.It was raining so my aunty say we will have more persentage in catching fish... But...... we still could not get any fish.haiz. So my dad, uncle and jason went ot buy live worms. then went they came back we ate lunch first. We ate burgers and chinese food. After that we went fishing again.

It was still raining so we all wore raincoats. When we opened the worm box it was frightening.With the worms crawling all around a small box and the box was full of sand and mud. i could post the picture or the worms if you want.hehe..This time i caught a fish!! yay!! It was easy actually. I just put a worm on the hook and droped it in. The hook was in the water for only 4 to 5 minutes and i already caught a fish! Unfortunately i only caught one. Haiz. Then we came in and played rummy-o for the rest of the afternoon. Apparently this is our fav game. then we ate chinese dinner.


11th day

Today we woke up early to pack our bags to go home. it toke us i think an hour just to pack the bags and the food. So much food!!!!! but before we went home we went to a cruise first. it was fun and they had hotdogs there too.The ship is called The Island queen and we cruise around Parry Island. And can you believe there is 30,000 Islands in Georgian Bay!!!

Here is the list of points of interests we saw:
1. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts-
Completed in 2003,this state of the art perfoming arts facility hosts live concerts and performances by renowned Canadian and international musicians.
2.The big Sound-
This body of water is called the Big Sound and is a popular spot for sailors and water enthusiasts for its persistant west wind.It is also one of the depest areas of Georgian Bay and the Great Lakes, reaching depths of 350 feet.
3. Bears head-
Bears head is the southern most point of Parry Island. It is called bears head because of the unusual number of black bears that are spotted here each year.
4.Devils Elbow-
Devils elbow is an extremely tight right-angle turn that the captains must navigate.
5.Seven-Mile Narrows-
This narrow channel was blasted out years ago to let larger vessels pass through and it is a very difficult channel to navigate through.
6.five-Mile Narrows Osprey Nest-
The osprey nest in five-mile narrows is one of the only visible Osprey nests in the area and is occupied every spring and summer by osprey returning north to breed. young Osprey usually hatch in June.
7.Rose Point Swing Bridge-
Built in the late 1800's to connect the mainland with Depot Harbour on Parry Island, this bridge still swings open to let larger vessels like the Island Queen through.
